Renowned contemporary artist Stuart Semple founded Culture Hustle when he made the 'Pinkest Pink' paint on the planet and then banned Anish Kapoor from using it. Stuart has always made his own materials, starting in his Mum’s shed so he knows what makes paint good & what artists need from materials.
We merge paintmaking and frontier science to make dreamy materials.
We’re famous for the pinkest pink, infamous for the blackest black and continually aim to blow minds with our Willy Wonka world.
Over 500k of the planet’s most adventurous artists are already using our paint.
We need your help to grow to the next stage. We believe it's inevitable that there will be a huge direct-to-consumer art materials brand. We want to be it!
Monetisation strategy
The art materials market is due to grow to over $4B by 2028. We believe that none of the old dinosaurs are aware of the new generation of cooler artists who live online. And we feel that they don’t know where or how to talk to them. We don’t want all of the dinosaur’s cake, we just want a nice chunky slice with all the sprinkles on.
